Red Dress Day 2024 – Ottawa Community MMIWG2S+ Feast and Giveaway

Families of Sisters in Spirit (FSIS) is hosting a family-friendly feast and giveaway at Strathcona Park to commemorate Red Dress Day on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm.
This grassroots event supports local families and community members impacted by the ongoing crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S+).
Strathcona Park is on the edge of Sandy Hill along the Rideau River. It’s accessible by transit and has 2 hours free visitor parking. The address is 95 Range Rd., Ottawa, ON K1N 8J3
If you want to bring your favorite dish or have something you are not using anymore, please donate it to someone else who can use it. If you need a ride for someone to pick up any donations please email : familiesofsistersinspirit@gmail.com
Everything will be donated to all who needs it.
