Gary Kinsman will be in Conversation with OmiSoore H. Dryden and Alan Sears
Gary Kinsman is a queer liberation, anti-oppression, Palestine solidarity, and anti-capitalist activist and the co-author of The Canadian War on Queers: National Security as Sexual Regulation. He is a member of the No Pride in Policing Coalition, Scholar Strike Canada and Queers4Palestine – Toronto.
OmiSoore H. Dryden is the James R. Johnston Endowed Chair of Black Canadian Studies in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and the co-editor of Disrupting Queer Inclusion: Canadian Homonationalisms and the Politics of Belonging.
Alan Sears is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at Toronto Metropolitan University. He is a long-time queer socialist activist. His books include The Next New Left: A History of the Future; The Democratic Imagination: Envisioning Popular Power in the Twenty-First Century (co-authored with James Cairns); and Retooling the Mind Factory: Education in a Lean State.
