“Life in Gaza” Film Screening Tour in Ottawa

Insaf and CMPAC are bringing the “’Life in Gaza’ Film Screening Tour” by Al-Jazeera 360 to Ottawa on February 7, 2025! Journalists from Gaza will be attending the event in person and online to discuss their experiences for the past 15 months!
We will be screening the film “Under the Rubble” which showcases the resilience and bravest forms of steadfastness from the medical staff in the impossible conditions at the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Gaza Strip. This thought-provoking film offers a rare glimpse into the lives of those enduring immense challenges, sharing powerful stories of survival, hope, and perseverance.
Following the screening, you will also have the chance to listen to an in person panel of international journalists, featuring Belal Khaled, Youmna El Sayed and Jamal Elshayyal. Journalist Wael Al Dahdouh will also be joining us virtually from AlJazeera, offering their insights and perspectives on the realities in Gaza.
