Come check out the Ottawa launch of How to Abolish Prisons featuring Rachel Herzing, Justin Piché, and special guests on Saturday, May 4th from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Club SAW, 67 Nicholson St., Ottawa.
Books will be sold by Octopus Books. Proceeds from CPEP merch sales will go towards the Coalition Against the Proposed Prison legal fund to stop Ford’s Kemptville prison plan and save farmland (https://www.coalitionagainstproposedprison.ca), as well as Prisoner Legal Supports (http://www.prisonerlegalsupports.ca).
In How to Abolish Prisons, long-time organizers Rachel Herzing and Justin Piché reveal a movement that has made the struggle for abolition as real as the institutions they are fighting against.
