All About the Bike Bus with Sam Balto

You’ve seen it on TikTok, Instagram, SNL, and the Guardian – bike buses are the hot new transportation thing! At its core, it’s about the simple act of biking to school, but it’s become a global movement that’s about a lot more than that.
Sam Balto, founder of Bike Bus World, will join us to share his story, the waves families are making by biking to school, and to fill us in on the global bike bus movement. He will help you take tangible steps to start a bike bus in your community. Sam will be joined by Ottawa bike bus leaders who will share their experiences in Ottawa and offer specific local ideas and resources.
The session will begin with presentations and then move into questions from the audience and discussion.
