From Palestine to the Philippines, political repression includes the unjust and arbitrary imprisonment of people who struggle for self-determination and liberation. For over 50 years, the Zionist entity has imprisoned thousands of Palestinians as part of an imperialist-backed project of ethnic cleansing. Philippine state terror imprisons workers, peasants, indigenous peoples, journalists, and peace consultants who seek justice, land reform, and higher wages – violating their human rights and international humanitarian law.
Join us for an educational and letter writing event at uOttawa from 6pm to 8pm to demonstrate solidarity with these heroic political prisoners in their time of need.
